About this role
Some customer service roles are about answering calls and following a script.
This isn’t one of them....
We’re recruiting for a Customer Relations Coordinator to join a globally recognised automotive brand, taking ownership of the customer cases that need a little more investigation, judgement and problem-solving to get right.
These aren’t your everyday enquiries. You’ll be managing more complex and escalated customer situations from start to finish – getting under the skin of what has happened, coordinating with different teams and ultimately finding the best possible resolution for the customer.
Depending on the case, that could mean working with technical specialists, dealerships, factory teams or even the legal department to piece together the full picture.
Think detective work, problem-solving and customer service rolled into one.
What will you actually be doing? You’ll own a portfolio of customer cases and be responsible for moving them towards resolution.
That means speaking directly with customers – sometimes when they’re understandably frustrated – asking the right questions, investigating what has happened and keeping them updated throughout.
You’ll work with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information, understand technical or more complex issues and agree the right next step, while making sure cases are progressed within agreed SLAs.
This is not an inbound call centre role. It’s much more about case ownership, investigation and relationship management.
What are we looking for? You don’t need to come from the automotive industry – full training will be provided.
What matters more is that you’re someone who:
Has strong customer service or customer relations experience
Is confident handling complaints, escalations or challenging conversations
Can show genuine empathy while remaining calm and solutions-focused
Loves getting to the bottom of a problem rather than simply passing it on
Is organised enough to manage multiple ongoing cases and follow through on promises
Communicates brilliantly with customers and colleagues
Is comfortable using CRM systems and keeping accurate case notes
Experience within a contact centre or case management environment would be useful, but we’re much more interested in how you think, communicate and solve problems.
Why consider it? Alongside joining a brilliant global brand, this is a genuinely interesting opportunity to take your customer service experience to the next level.
You’ll gain exposure to complex investigations, technical issues and multiple areas of the business – building experience that goes far beyond traditional customer service.
Plus…
Hybrid working – 3 days in Bracknell, 2 from home 35-hour working week 1pm finish every Friday £17.60 per hour – equivalent to circa £32,000 annually Fantastic global automotive brand Full training provided
If you’re great with people, naturally curious and the sort of person who needs to find the answer when something doesn’t quite add up, I’d love to speak with you.
