A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established business based in Canvey Island on a temporary basis for an initial 3-6 month contract.
This role is ideal for a proactive finance professional who can quickly integrate into the team, take ownership of financial reporting, and support business decision-making through accurate and timely management information.
Key Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly management accountsVariance analysis and commentaryBudgeting and forecasting supportBalance sheet reconciliationsMonth-end reporting and journal entriesCash flow monitoring and reportingAssisting with annual audits and compliance requirementsProducing financial reports and analysis for senior managementIdentifying opportunities for process improvements within the finance function About You: Qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)Previous Management Accountant experience is essentialStrong analytical and reporting skillsAdvanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systemsExcellent attention to detail and organisational abilitiesAble to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesAvailable to start within the next two weeks What's on Offer?
