An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded regional law firm with a strong reputation across Kent and the South East.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a successful, partner-led Employment team advising both employers and employees on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The Role
You will handle a diverse caseload of employment matters and work closely with colleagues across other specialist departments to deliver practical, commercially focused advice.
The work will include:
Employment Tribunal claimsWorkplace disputes and litigationSettlement AgreementsTUPE mattersDisciplinary and grievance proceduresEmployment contracts and staff handbooksHR policies and proceduresRedundancy and restructuring adviceMediation and dispute resolution This role offers an excellent mix of employer and employee work, with exposure to a varied client base ranging from individuals to SMEs and established businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Meeting clients and taking instructionsProviding clear and commercially focused legal adviceManaging employment matters from inception to conclusionDrafting and reviewing employment documentationKeeping clients informed on developments and case progressMaintaining accurate file management and compliance recordsResolving client queries promptly and professionallyEnsuring compliance with regulatory and quality standardsSupporting marketing, networking and business development activities About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will:
Be a qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in Employment LawHave experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment mattersBe confident managing your own caseloadPossess excellent communication and client-care skillsDemonstrate strong technical ability and commercial awarenessBe proactive, organised and capable of working independentlyThrive within a collaborative team environmentHave an interest in business development and relationship building What's on Offer?
