Description
Maternity leave cover FTCManage stock levels to meet customer demand while minimising excess inventory.Analyse sales data to forecast trends and make informed purchasing decisions.Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.Monitor and report on product performance and profitability.Collaborate with the buying team to plan product ranges.Support promotional planning by providing insights and stock availability updates.Oversee pricing strategies to maximise revenue and maintain competitiveness.Ensure accurate stock records and resolve discrepancies where needed. A successful Senior Merchandiser should have:
Proven experience in a merchandising or stock management role within retail.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Confidence in working with suppliers and negotiating terms.Proficiency with relevant merchandising systems and software.Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
