MS725 - Field Based Boiler Engineer
Location: Covering Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Hampshire & Oxfordshire
Salary: £40,000 - £47,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Based Commercial Boiler Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. You will be responsible for attending breakdowns, ensuring equipment is safe and operational, and providing a high standard of customer service. The role will involve working independently across the region, with occasional emergency call-outs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Install commercial boilers in line with Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS).Carry out repairs, servicing and maintenance on customer sites.Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs.Manage stock levels in vans and order parts as required.Ensure all work complies with company procedures and health and safety regulations.Maintain accurate records and complete all relevant administration.Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.Promote a strong health and safety culture. Skills and Qualifications:
Experience working with commercial boilers.Full UK driving licence.CSCS Card.Good communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.Good organisational, administrative and IT skills.Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations.Flexible, approachable and able to work as part of a team. Desirable:
OFTEC or relevant gas engineering qualifications.Previous experience within the HVAC hire industry.Electrical qualifications.MOD clearance and experience working on MOD sites. Benefits:
