Assistant Accountant - Slough (Hybrid) - 12 Month Contract - £16 - £18 per hour dependant on experience
IN2 Consult has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to work with a market leading client of ours based in Slough on an initial 12 month contract.
The duties of the Assistant Accountant role includes:
Own the monthly balance sheet reconciliations, making sure every balance is complete, accurate and supportedReconcile and confirm all intercompany and related party balances each monthPost month-end journals, including accruals and prepayment amortisationSupport monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to Group, local management and ComplianceSupport regulatory reporting and VAT return preparationBecome the team’s go-to person on the GL and P2P systems, fixing issues and improving processesProvide AP cover and process sales invoices, working with customers and dealersWork with Group Finance, Compliance, Internal Audit, IT and the external auditors
The successful Assistant Accountant will:
A junior or part-qualified accountant; CIMA, ACA or ACCA studiers are welcome, though this is not requiredHands-on balance sheet reconciliation and month-end experienceAdvanced ExcelClear communication with people at all levels
