As the Landing Gear Systems Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. You will be involved in:
Responsible for delivery of engineering tasks in the projects/mission assigned and personally delivering on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery technical solutions for the assigned scopeDefine technical requirements, perform technical analyses, write plans, accomplishment summaries etc. to achieve approval from Senior Engineers and Specialists.Critique and validate task planning, and regularly update progress reporting for Engineering LeadersExecute V&V strategies, test definition, and technical analyses for the assigned scopeResponsible for engineering deliverables related to validation and verification evidence/reports, ensuring compliance to the applicable requirements prior to submission for reviewInvestigate and resolve technical issues encountered during development or in-service operation within the assigned scope, developing and substantiating robust solutionsEngage regularly with Senior Engineers, Specialists, and Engineering Leaders to gain support, agreement, and ensure alignmentSupport other engineers, fostering team development and knowledge sharingCollaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliersPrepare technical documentation (reports, specifications, presentations) to support project milestones, design reviews, etc.Reviewed/Approved technical documentation (specifications, reports, V&V evidence etc.)
Your skillset & experience:
Degree-level qualification in Engineering or a related disciplineSystems Engineering experienceKnowledge/understanding of aircraft systemsData analysis, report writing, and presentation skillsGood interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving skills and an interest in technical challenges
