Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of welcoming secondary schools in Thanet. We have flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities available, making this an ideal role for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Cover Supervisors, youth workers, sports coaches and those with transferable skills.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged with their learning while their teacher is absent.
The Role:
Deliver pre-set lessons to secondary school students (Key Stages 3 & 4)Maintain a positive and productive learning environmentManage classroom behaviour in line with school policiesSupport students with their learning where requiredWork across a variety of subjects - no planning or marking required We are looking for candidates who:
Have experience working with young people, either in education, coaching, youth work or similar settingsAre confident leading groups and managing behaviourHave excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAre adaptable, reliable and organisedHold a degree or relevant experience (desirable but not essential)Have the right to work in the UK What Tradewind Recruitment Offers:
