We're supporting a highly respected intelligence and research-led organisation as they look to appoint a Due Diligence Researcher on an initial 3-6 month fixed term contract.
Whilst the contract is initially set for 3-6 months, the expectation is that the successful individual will be supporting a long-term programme of work and the assignment is highly likely to continue for at least 12 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong investigative, analytical or research skills who enjoys uncovering information, validating facts, identifying risks and delivering high-quality written assessments.
What You'll Be Doing
Conducting extensive open-source and database research on individuals and organisations globallyGathering, validating and analysing information from multiple sourcesIdentifying red flags, reputational risks and areas requiring further investigationWorking with international teams to obtain relevant intelligence and supporting evidenceProducing detailed, well-structured reports for client reviewAssessing the legitimacy, reputation and background of individuals, companies and associated entitiesManaging multiple research projects and delivering work to tight deadlines What We're Looking For
We're particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate experience in:
Due diligenceOSINT/Open Source IntelligenceInvestigationsIntelligence analysisCompliance, KYC or AMLFinancial crime researchCorporate intelligenceRisk analysisResearch and reporting-focused positions You'll also need:
Excellent written communication and report writing skillsExceptional attention to detailStrong analytical and critical thinking abilitiesA naturally inquisitive approachThe ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and form evidence-based conclusions Languages
Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin or Arabic will be highly desirable and will be given preference where all other factors are equal.
However, language skills are not essential and candidates with strong due diligence, investigative or analytical research experience are still encouraged to apply.
