We're looking for an experienced Databricks Architect to join a growing Data & AI practice, helping enterprise organisations modernise their data estates, define technology strategy and establish the foundations for advanced analytics, machine learning and AI.
This is a strategic architecture role focused on defining future-state platforms, establishing architectural standards and guiding organisations through complex data transformation journeys. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, technology leaders and engineering teams to design scalable, secure and future-ready data ecosystems that deliver long-term business value.

You Will Work With
Defining enterprise Data & AI architecture strategies and target-state roadmapsDesigning modern Databricks Lakehouse and cloud-based data platformsEstablishing governance, security, metadata and data management frameworksLeading architecture assessments, discovery workshops and strategic engagementsCreating scalable architectures that support analytics, machine learning and AI capabilitiesAdvising senior stakeholders on technology investments and transformation initiativesDefining architecture standards, design patterns and best practicesSupporting cloud adoption across Azure, AWS and GCP environmentsWorking closely with engineering, analytics and AI teams to ensure successful implementationActing as a trusted advisor throughout large-scale transformation programmes

Key Experience
Essential
Experience defining enterprise Data Architecture strategies and roadmapsStrong Databricks and Lakehouse Architecture expertiseDeep understanding of Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and modern Data Platform designExperience creating target-state architectures and modernisation strategiesStrong knowledge of data governance, security and information architecture principlesExperience working across Azure, AWS or GCP environmentsExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsProven ability to influence technology strategy and architectural decision-makingExperience supporting large-scale data transformation initiatives Desirable
Databricks certificationsMachine Learning, Generative AI or AI architecture experienceData Operating Model design experienceEnterprise Architecture governance and design authority experienceFinancial Services, Retail or other regulated industry experienceConsultancy or professional services background
