A fantastic and rare opportunity for a fully qualified Accountant to join a small, very well established team. My client is seeking a hands on Accountant who is looking for longevity in a top to bottom role
Duties will include:
Supervise a small teamPreparation of monthly management accounts.Year end accounts preparation and liaison with external auditors.Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of the general ledger.Review and submission of VAT returns.Cash flow forecasting and treasury management.Budgeting and forecasting activities.Supervising transactional finance processes including accounts payable and accounts receivable.Payroll oversight and reconciliation.Producing financial reports and analysis for senior management.Monitoring financial controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Assisting with process improvements and system enhancements.Supporting the business with ad hoc financial projects and commercial analysis.Liaising with stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and insight.Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring all deadlines are met. The successful candidate will be:
Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).Experienced in managing the full accounting function.Comfortable working in a small business environment.Proactive, hands-on and willing to support across all areas of finance.Highly organised with strong attention to detail.A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.Looking for a long-term opportunity within a stable and supportive business.
