An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm within its award-winning Real Estate team in Brighton.
This is a rare opportunity to specialise in the growing retirement living sector, working alongside an experienced Partner and established team on a high-quality caseload of residential property transactions. The Role
You will become part of a thriving Real Estate team that advises clients across a broad range of residential property matters, with a particular focus on retirement living transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload under supervisionHandling freehold and leasehold sales and purchasesAdvising clients on retirement living transactionsConducting title investigations and reviewing searchesDrafting and reviewing contracts and transfer documentationLiaising with clients, agents, lenders and third partiesEnsuring compliance with CQS, AML and risk management proceduresMaintaining exceptional levels of client careAssisting with business development and marketing initiativesSupporting the wider Residential Property and Real Estate teams About You

Previous residential conveyancing experienceStrong knowledge of residential property law, including landlord and tenant mattersThe ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent client-care and communication skillsStrong drafting and organisational abilitiesA collaborative approach and desire to work as part of a successful teamExperience within the retirement living sector would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided What's on Offer?
