Aspire People are looking for an experienced Plumbing Lecturer to support learners across further education. This is an immediate opportunity for a qualified plumbing professional with strong industry experience who is looking to share their knowledge and develop the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
The Role Deliver engaging practical and theory-based Plumbing sessions Support learners across different abilities and learning needs Use current industry knowledge and practices within teaching Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback Build positive relationships with learners and colleagues Maintain high standards of safeguarding, equality and inclusion
Essential Requirements NVQ Level 3 Plumbing or equivalent recognised qualification Industry experience within the plumbing and heating sector Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards a PGCE Evidence of CPD and willingness to undertake further training Experience working with children and/or vulnerable adults Strong communication, organisation and IT skills Ability to build positive relationships with learners Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education Ability to travel between college campuses where required
Desirable NVQ Assessor or IQA Award Experience teaching Plumbing at Levels 1, 2 and 3 Experience with awarding bodies such as EAL or City & Guilds Welsh language skills
