We are currently recruiting for a Senior Town Planner to join an established planning consultancy based in Macclesfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner looking to take the next step in their career within a growing and well-established consultancy, working on a diverse range of projects for private clients, developers and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related disciplineIdeally MRTPI or working towards chartershipStrong experience within a planning consultancy or local authority environmentGood knowledge of the UK planning system and current planning policyExperience managing planning applications and providing planning adviceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage your own workload and work to deadlinesCommercial awareness and confidence dealing with clients and planning authorities Responsibilities
Managing a varied caseload of planning projects from inception through to determinationPreparing and submitting planning applicationsProviding planning advice to clients and stakeholdersUndertaking site appraisals and planning assessmentsLiaising and negotiating with local planning authoritiesSupporting and managing planning appeals where requiredAssisting with development promotion and strategic planning workBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsContributing to the wider growth and success of the consultancy If you're a Senior Town Planner considering your next move and would like to find out more, I'd be happy to have a confidential conversation.
