KS2 Teaching Assistant - Tottington | BL8
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Tottington, BL8.
The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher to support pupils across Key Stage 2, helping children access learning and develop confidence and independence.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting pupils across KS2Working with individuals and small groupsSupporting reading, writing and mathematicsReinforcing classroom learningProviding additional support to pupils who require itHelping children develop independence and confidenceEncouraging positive behaviour and engagementSupporting classroom activities and preparationWorking closely with teaching staffContributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment The ideal candidate will:
Have a relevant Teaching Assistant, Education, Childcare or similar qualification ORHave at least 6 months' experience working with children in the UK, professionally or voluntarilyHave a genuine passion for primary educationBe patient, reliable and proactiveBe confident working with primary-aged childrenHave strong communication skillsBe able to build positive relationships with pupilsBe committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing What Tradewind Recruitment offers:
