Are you passionate about safeguarding vulnerable children?
A well-established and highly regarded Greater Manchester law firm is seeking a Childcare Solicitor to join its growing childcare team. Known for its excellent reputation in childcare and family law, the firm offers a supportive and collaborative working environment.
You will join a friendly team of five specialist care lawyers, supported by experienced secretarial and paralegal staff. This role may also suit candidates seeking part-time working arrangements.
The Role
You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload, primarily involving:
Care proceedingsPLO (Public Law Outline) pre-proceedings workRepresenting clients in childcare mattersDrafting legal documents and case preparationAdvocacy where appropriate You will also work closely with colleagues within the childcare team to deliver high-quality legal services to vulnerable children and families.
Requirements
You will have:
2+ years’ PQE (guideline only – applications from all experience levels are welcome)Qualification as a SolicitorStrong communication, analytical and drafting skillsThe ability to manage a full caseload independentlyA willingness to undertake advocacy where appropriateChildren Panel membership (or working towards it) is desirable What’s on Offer?
