Key Responsibilities Our client is a c£100m turnover organisation operating across multiple locations. Continued growth has created the need for a Transactional Finance Manager to bring greater oversight, consistency and control to its core financial processes.
This is an opportunity to shape a newly created position and establish effective ways of working across accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing. Key Responsibilities Lead the accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing functionsStrengthen financial controls across transactional financeImprove the accuracy, consistency and timeliness of processingEstablish clear processes, responsibilities and performance measuresMaintain effective oversight of cash collection and supplier paymentsIdentify and resolve issues across multiple sitesImprove reporting and visibility of transactional performanceSupport process improvement, standardisation and appropriate automationWork collaboratively with finance and operational stakeholdersBuild a function capable of supporting continued business growth The person Experience managing transactional finance within a fast-paced organisationStrong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and billingExperience working within a multi-site or similarly complex environmentA clear understanding of financial controls and process governanceEvidence of improving transactional processes and performanceConfident managing competing priorities and high transaction volumesStrong stakeholder-management and communication skillsComfortable working at both operational and strategic levelsAnalytical, organised and attentive to detailA practical leadership style focused on accountability and continuous improvement
