An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor up to 3 Years' PQE to join a highly regarded and growing Corporate & Commercial team at a well-established regional law firm.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, partner-led department that advises a diverse client base of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and entrepreneurs across a broad range of sectors. The team is recognised by leading legal directories and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, commercially focused advice.
The Role
You will work closely with experienced lawyers on a varied caseload of corporate and commercial matters, including:
Commercial agreementsTerms and conditions of businessSupply and service agreementsIntellectual property mattersData protection and GDPR adviceBusiness sales and acquisitionsShareholder and partnership mattersCorporate transactions and restructures You will also have the opportunity to support larger transactions alongside colleagues in other specialist disciplines, including Commercial Property and Employment.
Key Responsibilities
Meeting with clients and taking instructionsProviding clear and practical legal adviceManaging client relationships and keeping clients informed throughout mattersDrafting and reviewing legal documentationMaintaining accurate client and matter recordsHandling client enquiries efficiently and professionallyEnsuring compliance with regulatory and quality standardsSupporting business development and networking initiatives About You
To be considered, you will:
Be a Solicitor with between NQ and 3 years' PQEHave experience or a strong interest in corporate and commercial lawPossess excellent communication and client-care skillsBe commercially aware and proactiveEnjoy working collaboratively within a team environmentDemonstrate strong organisational and time management skills What's on Offer?
