Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a caring and committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive primary school in Bury, BL9.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
The role will involve:
Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a primary-aged pupilSupporting access to classroom learningHelping develop communication and social skillsEncouraging independence and confidenceSupporting emotional regulation and engagementReinforcing positive behaviour strategiesSupporting literacy and numeracy activitiesWorking closely with the class teacher and SEN teamFollowing individual support strategiesContributing to a safe and inclusive classroom The successful candidate will:
Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant, SEN, Education, Childcare or similar qualification ORHave at least 6 months' experience working with children in the UK, either professionally or voluntarilyHave a genuine interest in SENDBe patient, calm and resilientBe able to build strong professional relationshipsHave excellent communication skillsBe committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing Tradewind Recruitment can offer:
