The Company
This is a boutique B2B events agency specialising in conferences, academic and association events, staff engagement and hospitality. Live events are the core, with scale ranging from focused delegate gatherings through to large-scale international conferences. The team is small and collaborative, and an Event Manager here works closely with coordinators and fellow managers across every project. People tend to stay, and the culture backs that up with real investment in wellbeing and development.
The Role
As Event Manager, you will take full ownership of a portfolio of B2B events. Managing client relationships, suppliers, budgets and timelines from initial brief through to onsite delivery and post-event evaluation, with the support of a coordinating team behind you.
- Manage events end-to-end, from brief and concept through planning, production and onsite delivery
- Lead client relationships, translating objectives into clear and deliverable event plans
- Build and manage detailed project timelines and oversee budgets across your portfolio
- Coordinate suppliers, venues and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead onsite delivery, problem-solving in real time to ensure a seamless experience
- Collaborate internally with coordinators and fellow managers across shared projects
- Contribute ideas and process improvements to support sustainable, inclusive event delivery
The Candidate
You will have built your career at project manager or event producer level within an event agency, and you will be comfortable leading events end-to-end. Budgets, timelines, supplier management and client communication included. The ideal Event Manager is calm under pressure, sharp on detail, and confident managing multiple projects at once.
A background in B2B conferences or academic and association events is beneficial but not essential. If you have worked across a broad mix of live event formats and are ready to step into an Event Manager position with real portfolio ownership, this is worth a look.
