Funding Officer
Organisation: City Bridge Foundation - City of London Corporation Location: Hybrid working, with a minimum of 3 days per week at the Guildhall, Gresham Street, London EC2V 7HH Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (3-months)
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Funding Officer to join the City Bridge Foundation Funding Team. Working closely with colleagues across the Foundation, you will help manage funding applications, maintain accurate records and databases, support monitoring and reporting processes, and provide advice and guidance to applicants and stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
Support the processing of charitable funding applications.Assist with the management and monitoring of existing funding agreements.Maintain and update CRM and grants management systems, ensuring accurate data and reporting.Process grant payments, invoices and purchase orders in accordance with financial procedures. Respond to enquiries from applicants, grant holders and internal stakeholders via phone and email.Support monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities across funded programmes. About You
We are looking for someone with:
Experience working within a charity, funding, grant-making or similar administrative environment.Experience responding to a broad range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service.Strong data management and database administration skills.Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the voluntary and community sector and the challenges organisations face in securing funding. Good IT skills and experience using CRM or grants management systems. A proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to high standards.
