Location: South Norfolk
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent | Full-time
The Opportunity
Keeler Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an established business in South Norfolk with the recruitment of an experienced Finance & Payroll Officer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and is comfortable taking ownership of both finance and payroll responsibilities.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing payroll processes and supporting the wider financial operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Finance
Maintaining accurate financial records.
Preparing management accounts and supporting financial reporting.
Reviewing and preparing VAT returns.
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements.
Managing credit control and monitoring outstanding payments.
Supporting costing activities and financial analysis.
Ensuring financial information is accurate and up to date.
Payroll
Processing monthly payroll.
Ensuring accurate and timely payroll calculations.
Managing pension auto-enrolment requirements.
Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Responding to payroll-related queries.
About You
We are looking for an organised, proactive and experienced finance professional who can confidently manage a varied workload and enjoys being involved in the day-to-day financial operations of a business.
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of three years' experience in accounting.
Previous experience processing payroll.
Experience preparing management accounts and VAT returns.
AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience (desirable).
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
A positive, professional and collaborative approach.
