We are working with an institutional investor who is looking to add an experienced investment professional to their alternative investment team. The role will focus on primary fund and co-investments in the infrastructure space, assessing opportunities across Europe. What the job involves
Screen and review investment opportunities in the European infrastructure fund universe based on the strategic investment planAttend meetings with general partners (fund managers) and collect information about their strategy and investmentsParticipate in the due diligence of potential investments through on-site and/or virtual due diligence sessions. Evaluate and assess a variety of risks throughout the processPresent investment opportunities to the global investment committee through oral and written presentationsBuild and maintain databases of fund and market information to inform analysis and investment recommendationsTrack the activity and performance of existing funds and their underlying portfolio companies to assess whether the managers are on track to achieve their investment targetAttend annual general meetings / advisory board meetingsLiaise with existing managers to aggregate fund data and produce quarterly internal reportingConduct private infrastructure market research to help determine attractive geographies and sectors Who we are looking for Experience in private infrastructure and investment with a good understanding of investment strategies, risks and drivers, ideally with a few years' experience in direct and/or co-investmentsStrong academic background in finance, economics, or related field with advanced studiesExcellent command of MS Office (Excel, Word, Copilot and PowerPoint)Outstanding analytical and assessment skills, written and verbal communication skills, and investor mindsetDetail oriented, pro-active, and able to excel in a highly collaborative global teamA flexible team player able to adapt to changeWillingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally #LI-JW1 You will be redirected to the company’s website – you must complete the application on their platform to apply.
