Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a busy shopping centre in Kendal. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for shoppers, visitors and staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail and can work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and maintaining communal areas throughout the shopping centre.
Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish correctly.Cleaning toilets and replenishing consumables such as toilet paper, soap and hand towels.Dusting and wiping down surfaces, fixtures and fittings.Spot cleaning glass, doors and high-traffic touchpoints.Responding promptly to any spillages or cleaning requirements.Following health and safety procedures at all times.Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or damage to the relevant team. PLEASE NOTE - The business is looking for someone to start ASAP so this position would suit those that don't have a notice period.
