Opus People Solutions are hiring for a Senior Corporate Compliance Officer within Peterborough City Council.
The role is 37 hours per week, offering hybrid working, with a contract length of 10 weeks initially. Please see a high-level overview of what the position involves below:
Managing and conducting investigations into suspected fraud, misconduct, irregularity and compliance issues affecting the CouncilUndertaking a significant volume of Blue Badge misuse investigationsGathering, reviewing and analysing evidence to support investigationsConducting interviews and maintaining detailed case recordsPreparing investigation reports and case filesLiaising with internal departments including HR, Legal Services, Parking Services and senior managementSupporting wider counter-fraud and compliance activities across the organisation The ideal candidate will have experience with:
Managing investigations from referral through to outcomeEvidence gathering, interviewing and case managementWriting clear and concise investigation reportsWorking with multiple stakeholders and managing sensitive informationFraud, compliance, enforcement, regulatory or similar investigationsBlue Badge investigations, counter-fraud investigationsPrevious experience within Local Government If this role is of interest to you, please submit a copy of your CV and a mobile number.
