Finance Apprentice
Location: Egham, Surrey Salary: Competitive Job Type: Full-time (office based for the first 3 months then hybrid thereafter)

We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established client of ours, where you'll gain hands-on experience within a busy Finance team whilst studying towards a recognised AAT Accounting qualification.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has a keen eye for detail, and is eager to develop a long-term career in finance or accountancy. You'll receive comprehensive training, support from experienced finance professionals, and exposure to a wide range of financial processes. No previous finance experience is required although good GCSE's and A Levels in numerate subjects likes Maths, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business.
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase invoices, sales invoices, payments, and receipts.Maintaining accurate financial records, spreadsheets, and accounting systems.Assisting with bank, supplier, and account reconciliations.Responding professionally to finance-related queries from colleagues, customers, and suppliers.Supporting budget monitoring activities and month-end/year-end processes.Working collaboratively with departments across the organisation to ensure efficient financial administration.Handling confidential financial information accurately and securely.Assisting with the preparation of reports and financial data as required. A genuine interest in finance and accounting.Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.Good written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable working with data, documents, and financial information.Well-organised, reliable, and keen to learn.Committed to completing an AAT apprenticeship and applying your learning in the workplace.Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Nine GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 5/C or above, including English and Mathematics.Three A Levels at Grades A-C, including at least one of the following subjects: MathematicsEconomicsBusiness StudiesAccounting Previous experience using spreadsheets, handling data, or working in an office environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
