Job Description Walmsley, part of Connells Group, is looking for an experienced and motivated Property Manager to join our Lettings team in Caversham.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Property Manager looking to take the next step in their career. You’ll manage a sizeable portfolio of properties while supporting the Lettings Manager with the coaching and mentoring of other Property Managers within the team.
Based in branch, you’ll work closely with landlords, tenants and internal teams to deliver a high standard of property management and customer service.

As Property Manager, you’ll take responsibility for a sizeable portfolio of managed properties, ensuring properties and tenancies are managed effectively and in line with legislation and company standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of residential propertiesActing as a key point of contact for landlords and tenantsCarrying out property inspections and following up on any issues identifiedManaging repairs, maintenance and contractor activityProviding advice and guidance on tenancy matters and relevant legislationSupporting the Lettings Manager with coaching and mentoring other Property ManagersSharing knowledge and best practice across the teamManaging more complex property management and tenancy queriesLiaising with internal teams to ensure issues are resolved promptlyMaintaining high levels of customer service and compliance What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a Property Manager or in a similar residential property management roleExperience managing a portfolio of propertiesGood knowledge of residential lettings and tenancy processesExperience carrying out property inspectionsConfidence supporting, coaching and mentoring colleaguesStrong communication, organisation and customer service skillsA calm, solutions-focused approachFull UK driving licence.
