Job Type: Part-time (4 days per week)Location: East SussexSalary:£30- £45 per hour (UMBRELLA) (negotiable based on experience)Start Date: ASAPLength of Placement: Temporary (ongoing sick cover, potentially until October half term, not guaranteed) We are seeking an experienced A-Level Chemistry Lecturer to join our team at the East Sussex Campus. This role involves teaching AQA Chemistry specifications and is crucial for maintaining high-quality education during a period of staff absence.
Day-to-day of the role:
Monday: 1:00 PM - 4:30 PMTuesday: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM (TBC)Thursday: 10:30 AM - 4:30 PMFriday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PMDeliver engaging and effective lessons in A-Level Chemistry following AQA specifications.Prepare students for examinations and assessments.Adapt teaching methods to cater to varying student needs and learning styles.Maintain academic records and monitor student progress. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an A-Level Chemistry Lecturer.Strong familiarity with AQA Chemistry specifications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to engage and inspire students.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively. Benefits:
