Metal Finisher Location: Sheffield Salary: £31,200 - £32,300 (including shift allowance) Shift Pattern: Rotating Days & Afternoons

Mornings: 6:00am - 2:00pmAfternoons: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Friday (Early Finish)
Mornings: 6:00am - 12:00pmAfternoons: 12:00pm - 6:00pm The Opportunity Elevation Recruitment Group's Skilled Shop Floor Team are working with a well-established precision engineering business supplying the medical and aerospace sectors to recruit an experienced Metal Finisher.

Key Responsibilities Finishing precision-engineered metal components to customer specificationsDeburring, polishing, linishing, grinding and dressing components to achieve the required finishUsing a range of hand and power tools, including linishing and grinding equipmentCarrying out visual and dimensional inspections using measuring equipmentWorking from engineering drawings and production instructionsEnsuring components meet strict quality standards before progressing through productionMaintaining high standards of housekeeping and adhering to Health & Safety proceduresSupporting other production departments when required What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Metal Finisher, Deburrer, Linisher, Grinder or Finishing OperativeExperience within precision engineering, aerospace, medical or another high-specification manufacturing environment would be advantageousExcellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workExperience using hand and power tools for metal finishingAbility to interpret engineering drawings is desirableA proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team What's on Offer £31,200 - £32,300 per annum including shift allowanceEarly finish every FridayPermanent, long-term opportunityModern, clean manufacturing environmentOpportunity to work on high-specification components for the medical and aerospace sectorsOngoing training and development
