Financial Accountant responsibilities:
Take ownership of the month-end and year-end close process, producing accurate management accounts and financial reports across multiple entitiesMaintain the balance sheet through regular reconciliations, investigation of variances and resolution of outstanding itemsManage day-to-day transactional finance activities, including supplier payments, customer receipts and fixed asset accountingPrepare and deliver financial reporting packs, providing meaningful analysis and commentary to support business performanceAssist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning activities, helping to inform strategic decision-makingEnsure compliance with relevant financial, statutory and regulatory requirements through the preparation of returns and filingsSupport external audit processes by preparing schedules, reconciliations and responding to information requestsPartner with stakeholders across the business to improve financial controls, reporting processes and operational efficiency Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
Part-qualified ACCA or CIMAPrevious experience producing management accounts, financial reporting and financial analysisProficient in accounting systems and confident working with financial dataStrong attention to detailWell-organisedProactive and inquisitive approachStrong communication skills Job Offer
