Service Advisor Location: Woking, Surrey Salary: £34,000-£40,000 per year, depending on experience Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday Weekends: No weekend working
Planet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a well-established and successful automotive business in Woking.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a busy environment and wants to be part of a friendly, professional team.
The Role As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between customers and the workshop, ensuring vehicles are booked in, repairs are authorised and customers are kept informed throughout the process.
Key responsibilities include:
Welcoming and advising customersBooking vehicles into the workshopDiscussing repairs and preparing estimatesObtaining customer authorisationLiaising with technicians and monitoring vehicle progressOrdering parts and managing workshop workflowUpdating customers throughout the repairPreparing invoices and processing paymentsManaging loan vehicles and workshop bookingsMaintaining accurate customer records About You We're looking for someone who is:
Customer-focused with excellent communication skillsOrganised and able to prioritise effectivelyConfident working in a busy environmentProfessional, reliable and approachableComfortable using computer systemsA good problem solver with strong attention to detailAble to work well as part of a close-knit team Motor trade experience is preferred but not essential. Candidates with strong customer service, hospitality, retail, recruitment or other transferable experience are encouraged to apply.
