We are supporting a leading defence organisation with the appointment of a Contractor Compliance & CDM Advisor to join its growing Facilities Management team.
The role will support a diverse portfolio of construction and facilities projects across the UK estate, providing practical health and safety guidance while ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 Regulations.
Typical responsibilities include:
Supporting the implementation of CDM 2015 Regulations across a portfolio of UK projectsAssisting with the delivery of the Principal Designer role for small worksProviding competent health and safety and contractor compliance advice to the Facilities Management team and wider businessCarrying out site inspections, accident and incident investigations, audits and contractor compliance activitiesWorking with Project Managers and Maintenance Service Providers to improve processes, procedures and working practices The ideal candidate will have:
NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Diploma, with Level 6 preferredIOSH membership with an active CPD recordStrong knowledge and understanding of CDM 2015 RegulationsUnderstanding of the Principal Designer role, with IMaPS or CMaPS experience beneficialA proactive approach with the ability to manage a varied portfolio of projects and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders This position offers a lucrative benefits package, which includes but is not limited to:
