A leading defence organisation are looking for two proven Procurement Manager's to join a high-performing team responsible for managing critical supplier relationships, commercial negotiations and procurement activities across complex engineering programmes.
Role: Procurement Manager (x2)Duration: 9-month contractPay: Up to £45 p/hr (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)Location: Stevenage or BristolWorking Pattern: 3 days onsite You'll be responsible for managing supplier relationships, commercial negotiations and procurement activities across a portfolio of engineering and manufacturing suppliers, ensuring cost, quality and delivery objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance.Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing, terms and contractual agreements.Support sourcing and procurement activities across engineering and manufacturing programmes.Manage supplier risks, mitigation plans and escalation activities.Drive cost reduction and value improvement initiatives.Ensure supplier delivery performance meets programme requirements.Work closely with internal stakeholders across Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations.Support commercial reviews, procurement governance and contract management activities.Identify opportunities for supplier improvement and supply chain optimisation. Working closely with programme, engineering, quality and supply chain stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring continuity of supply, supplier performance and commercial value delivery across major programmes.
