Are you a Platform Engineer who enjoys owning services, solving complex operational challenges, and building secure cloud platforms at scale?
We're looking for a hands-on Platform Engineer to help design, build and support secure, highly available cloud infrastructure within a fast-paced, regulated environment.
This is more than a traditional infrastructure role. You'll play a key part in building and operating AWS-based platforms, supporting critical API services, improving operational resilience, managing incidents, and working closely with Architecture and Security teams to deliver secure and reliable services.

The Role Design, build and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructureDevelop and manage Infrastructure as Code using TerraformBuild and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins and similar toolingSupport containerised and serverless workloads using Kubernetes, Docker and AWS FargateOwn and support production services and APIsMonitor platform health, performance and availabilityManage observability, logging and alerting capabilitiesTroubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root cause analysisSupport incident response and service restoration activitiesWork closely with Security teams to ensure services remain secure and compliantSupport certificate lifecycle management, access controls and secrets managementCollaborate with architects, engineers and third-party suppliersCreate and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and operational processesDrive platform reliability, resilience and continuous improvement initiatives Skills & Experience Required 3+ years' experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE or similar rolesStrong AWS experience within production environmentsTerraform and Infrastructure as Code expertiseExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesExperience with Docker, Kubernetes and/or AWS FargateStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience supporting business-critical platforms and servicesMonitoring and observability experience (CloudWatch, Splunk or similar)Experience managing incidents within production environmentsUnderstanding of cloud security best practicesExperience working with APIs and modern cloud architecturesExcellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work independently while collaborating across technical teams Desirable Experience API security experienceCertificate lifecycle managementPKI, TLS/mTLS and certificate-based authenticationOAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC) and JWT/JWKS conceptsSecrets and credential managementSite Reliability Engineering (SRE) experiencePython scripting and automationVendor and supplier management experienceExperience working within regulated environments About You You'll be someone who:
