Management Accountant (Projects) | Nottinghamshire | Up to £60,000 + Benefits + Hybrid Working

This is far more than a traditional management accounting position. Alongside ownership of core financial reporting activities, you'll play a key role in analysing project performance, supporting operational decision-making and providing meaningful financial insight to stakeholders across the business.
The Role Reporting into senior finance leadership, responsibilities will include:
Production of monthly management accounts and supporting commentaryAnalysis of project and business performance, profitability and marginsPreparation of accruals, prepayments and month-end journalsBalance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of strong financial controlsSupporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow processesMonitoring project costs, performance and financial outcomesProviding commercial analysis and decision support to operational stakeholdersSupporting year-end audit requirementsDriving process improvements and finance best-practice initiativesDelivering meaningful insight to support strategic business decisions About You We are keen to speak with finance professionals who are:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or an outstanding qualified-by-experience finance professional with relevant project and commercial accounting experienceExperienced within Management Accounting, Project Accounting or Commercial FinanceCommercially minded and naturally curiousComfortable working closely with operational and non-finance stakeholdersStrong analytical thinkers with excellent attention to detailProactive, ambitious and keen to develop their career within a growing and progressive organisation What's on Offer?
