An established manufacturing business in the Market Weighton area is looking to appoint a Financial Controller. Part of a wider group, the business requires an experienced finance professional to lead the finance function and provide accurate reporting and commercial insight.
Leading a small finance team, you will take ownership of financial reporting and controls, with a particular focus on manufacturing performance, ERP driven reporting.
Key responsibilities Lead and develop a small finance teamOwn month-end and group reportingManage budgets, forecasts and cash flowAnalyse manufacturing costs, margins and operational performanceMaintain strong financial controls and balance sheet integrityUse ERP data to improve financial and operational reportingSupport senior management with commercial analysis and decision-makingCoordinate year-end audit and external reporting requirements About you Qualified accountant with experience in manufacturing or engineeringBackground in an SME, subsidiary or divisional finance environmentExperience reporting into a wider group structureStrong ERP systems experienceConfident with Excel, reporting and financial analysisPrevious team management experienceComfortable combining hands-on finance with commercial support. The position combines team leadership, manufacturing finance, ERP and group reporting with direct exposure to senior management.
Salary to £70,000
