We're partnering with an established housing organisation to recruit a Service Charge Manager into a key finance leadership role.
You'll take responsibility for a regional Service Charge function, combining technical expertise, people leadership, financial control and continuous improvement.

Leading, coaching and developing the Service Charge teamOverseeing annual service charge estimates and year-end statementsSupporting the annual accountant certification and audit processMaintaining strong financial controls, reconciliations and service charge ledgersMonitoring performance against budgetsWorking closely with Finance, Rents and wider operational teamsDriving improvements to systems, controls and processesLeading service charge projects and continuous improvement initiativesEnsuring service charges support affordability and value for money for residents Profile
Ideally, you'll have:
Experience within service charge finance, ideally gained in social housingKnowledge of service charge and rent legislationUnderstanding of the social housing regulatory frameworkExperience leading and developing a team as an experienced team leader or a capable managerStrong financial and analytical skillsConfidence working with large and complex datasetsStrong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookupsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsThe ability to identify opportunities for process improvement Job Offer
Salary ranging from £58,689 to £69,437, dependent on the level of experience.Hybrid working - 1/2 days a weekExcellent benefits
