Assistant Warehouse Manager
Wellesbourne, Warwickshire £27,000 - £28,000 per annum Permanent, Full-time
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in Wellesbourne.
This is a hands-on role supporting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of the warehouse, this is managing a small permanent team with large seasonal peaks.
You'll be involved in stock control, goods in and out, picking and loading, team support and the preparation of equipment.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Warehouse Manager with the daily running of the warehouseReceiving, checking and putting away deliveriesManaging stock levels and carrying out regular stock checksPicking and preparing ordersLoading vehicles safely and efficientlyManaging stock rotation and reducing wasteKeeping accurate stock records using a WMSReporting damaged, missing or incorrect stockKeeping the warehouse organised and safeSupporting warehouse staff with daily tasksCarrying out basic equipment checks, cleaning and chargingTracking equipment and returning to the warehouseCarrying out basic repairs and DIY tasks where requiredSupporting Health & Safety across the warehouse and yard About You
We're looking for someone with previous experience in warehouse, stock control or logistics who wants to take the next step in their career.
You should have:
Previous warehouse or logistics experienceGood experience with stock control and inventoryGood IT skills and confidence using ExcelExperience using a WMSGood attention to detailA practical, hands-on approachGood communication skillsThe ability to organise your own workload and meet deadlinesThe ability to lift and move items up to 25kgFLT Licence is desirable but not essential If this sounds like the role for you then APPLY NOW!
