Job Details:
Pay: £45,000 - £47,000Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8.00 am - 4.30 pmDuration: PermanentBenefits: Discretionary company bonus increasing with length of service, life assurance, BUPA medical cover, increased employer pension scheme and 25 days’ holiday Job Role: As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for reactive maintenance and repair of production equipment, including powder filling systems, packaging lines, mixing vessels and general process equipment. The Engineering Technician will investigate underperforming equipment and implement corrective actions, working closely with internal departments to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability. The role will also involve condition monitoring, first-line PLC and HMI diagnostic checks and subsequent troubleshooting.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
Previous multiskilled maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment, maintenance or similar engineering roleDiagnosing faults Experience of vibration analysis and ultrasound techniquesLevel 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, MechatronicsAbility to carry out first-line PLC and HMI diagnostic checks and troubleshootingThe Maintenance Technician will require a proactive approach to identifying equipment faults and improving reliability Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
Root cause analysis experienceCondition Monitoring experienceExperience of using SAP Commutable From: Liverpool, Warrington, Skelmersdale, St Helens, Chester, Wirral
