About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse to join a leading private hospital. This role is primarily based within surgical wards, caring for patients before and after a variety of surgical procedures.
The successful Registered Nurse will have a strong background working within surgical wards and experience supporting orthopaedic patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse seeking a rewarding role within a modern private healthcare environment.
Essential Requirements Current NMC registration as a Registered NurseMinimum 3 years' UK nursing experiencePrevious experience working within surgical wardsOrthopaedic ward experience is highly desirableStrong understanding of post-operative patient careExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Duties and Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care across surgical wardsAssess, plan, implement and evaluate patient careSupport patients throughout their surgical journeyMonitor and manage post-operative recoveryAdminister medications and treatments in line with hospital policiesMaintain accurate clinical records and documentationWork collaboratively with consultants and wider ward teamsEnsure excellent standards of patient safety and infection prevention
About You
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is confident working within busy surgical wards and has experience caring for orthopaedic patients. The ideal Registered Nurse will be patient-focused, professional and committed to delivering exceptional standards of care.
You will have experience working on wards within a hospital setting and be comfortable managing a varied caseload of surgical patients. Previous experience in private healthcare would be beneficial but is not essential.
