The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Senior to join a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice in Chelmsford.
This role is ideal for an ambitious tax professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. You'll manage a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, providing high-quality compliance services and assisting with advisory work while building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns.Preparing corporation tax computations and returns.Assisting clients with tax planning and advisory matters.Advising clients on tax compliance and legislative changes.Liaising directly with HMRC on behalf of clients.Managing deadlines to ensure timely submission of returns.Supporting managers and partners on complex tax projects.Building and maintaining strong client relationships.Assisting with the development and mentoring of junior tax team members. About You
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice tax role.ATT qualified, CTA studying, CTA qualified, or qualified by experience.Strong knowledge of UK personal and corporate taxation.Experience managing a client portfolio.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.A proactive and commercial approach to client service.Experience with tax software and cloud-based systems would be advantageous.
