The Opportunity
Are you an experienced tax professional looking for your next challenge within a friendly and progressive accountancy practice?
We are seeking a Tax Senior to join a highly regarded firm based in Leigh-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, supporting both compliance and advisory projects while developing your career within a collaborative and supportive environment.
You'll work closely with Managers and Partners, providing expert tax support to individuals, owner-managed businesses, and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.Preparing and reviewing Self-Assessment tax returns.Preparing corporation tax computations and returns.Providing tax compliance and advisory services to a broad client base.Assisting clients with tax planning opportunities, including Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax matters.Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and advising clients accordingly.Supporting managers and partners on specialist tax projects.Building and maintaining strong client relationships.Mentoring and supporting junior members of the tax team. About You
The ideal candidate will have:
ATT and/or CTA qualification, or be qualified by experience.Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice.Strong knowledge of personal and corporate tax compliance.Experience managing a portfolio of clients.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.A proactive and client-focused approach.Experience with tax software and cloud-based systems.
