About this role
We are looking for an Embedded Digital Design Engineer to join an established engineering team in Stevenage. The role involves working on a range of embedded digital systems, including DSP, image processing, complex SoC and safety-critical applications, with opportunities to broaden your technical experience and develop your skills.
Typical responsibilities include:
Working across the full embedded development lifecycle, from initial system design and functional partitioning through to implementation, integration and testingDeveloping embedded digital systems across areas such as FPGA, embedded software and digital hardwareSupporting the partitioning of functions between software and FPGA domains and modelling key performance aspects of the resulting designIntegrating and testing embedded systems on hardware platformsWorking within multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver complex solutions and contribute to continuous technical development The ideal candidate will have:
A background in Digital Hardware Design, FPGA Design or Embedded Software DesignExperience or knowledge of embedded digital design and modellingExperience integrating and testing embedded systems on hardware platformsA degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate engineering or technical disciplineStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment This position offers a lucrative benefits package, which includes but is not limited to:
