Can you own a client relationship, shape the product and grow the account?
This Product and Account Lead contract is with a growing UK technology company expanding into life sciences. You'll take full ownership of a key client account: the relationship, the product direction, the delivery team and the commercial results.
It's a hybrid contract in Oxfordshire, with 2 days a week in the office, for 6 to 12 months, outside IR35, with an ASAP start. You'll have the freedom to set up the way the account is run.
What You'll Be Doing
Acting as the main contact for the client, from day-to-day users to senior stakeholdersSetting priorities with the client and keeping scope and commitments realisticLeading the delivery team and sequencing the workTurning client feedback into a clear product roadmapOwning plans, milestones, risks and change control, including third-party suppliersGrowing the account into new teams and use cases, and tracking adoption and revenueReporting on account health to the client and to leadership What You'll Bring
5+ years managing AI projects with multiple stakeholders and live releasesProven ownership of a client relationship, including commercial responsibilityA background in biotech, pharma or life sciencesCredibility with engineers on modern AI and data technologies, without needing to codeStrong control of scope, requirements and budget, and comfort building process from scratch Desirable: account growth through expansion or renewal, a portfolio of shipped AI products, experience with scientific or regulated data, presenting to senior stakeholders, business development experience
