Financial Controller Leeds £65,000 - £75,000 + Bonus
Elevation are exclusively partnered with a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Leeds as they look to recruit a Financial Controller to lead their finance function.
Having come through a period of change, the business is now in a strong position and has clear ambitions to scale over the coming years. Finance will play a central role in that journey, and this appointment is an important one for the site.
This is a genuinely commercial role, not just a reporting one. You’ll be the most senior finance presence on site and a key member of the site leadership team, working closely with operations to report on and improve site performance. Your insight will directly shape decisions, from day-to-day cost control through to longer-term investment.

What you’ll be doing
Owning the monthly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts, including the audit processLeading, coaching and developing a small, capable finance teamLeading the annual budget, rolling forecasts and long-range planning for the siteManaging cash flow and working capital, keeping a close eye on liquidity as the business growsPartnering operational and commercial leads, managing cost centres and providing insight on margin and performanceSupporting capex evaluation and investment appraisal for future growth projectsStrengthening financial controls, policies and risk frameworksDriving process and systems improvements, making finance faster and more useful to the business What you’ll bring
