The role of the Business Development Manager – Warehouse Loading Bay Systems will involve:
Field sales role, promoting loading bay safety solutions for warehousing with a focus on; cold storage, distribution centres, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and retailPromoting loading bay safety solutions into warehouse facilities (targeting health & safety managers, operations managers and finance managers.)Typical loading bay solutions £5,000-£250,000Customers include: Coca-Cola, Mars, DHL, GXO etc.Working in a team of four nationally, tasked with bringing in circa £350,000-£500,000 of new business developmentNew business/ hunter roleFocus will be on selling directly into end users and owners of warehousing facilities or 3PL companies, discussing their safety requirements for loading bays (there are more than 45,000 loading bays for food & beverage alone) The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager – Warehouse Loading Bay Systems with:
3 years + experience in industrial equipment sales and materials handling equipment to end usersProven hunter with a field sales track record in business developmentMust have sold into warehouse associated facilitiesComfortable selling a premium product/ solutionsTonnes of drive and enthusiasmIdeally sold capital equipment or material handling solutionsPrior sector experience within cold storage, distribution centres, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and retail sectors would be idealSpecific safety sector experience is not essential but may be usefulKnowledge of loading bays not requiredSelf-starter, with coachable mentality Company
