About the Company

An established independent financial planning practice based in Northampton, widely respected for providing tailored wealth management and financial advisory services to private and commercial clients.

Role Summary

If you are an experienced IFA Administrator looking for greater day-to-day autonomy, this role offers the chance to work directly alongside experienced Financial Advisers on technical casework. With full-time and reduced-hour working patterns considered, it provides a stable, collaborative environment where you can take meaningful ownership of client journeys and develop your technical report-writing skills.

Key Responsibilities

Draft suitability reports, reasons why letters, and client review packs, deepening your technical product knowledge and analytical report-writing expertise.

Process new business from submission through to completion alongside executing fund switches, giving you end-to-end ownership over file progression and client pipelines.

Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, advisers, and providers, allowing you to develop strong professional relationships across the financial planning spectrum.

Perform pre-sign-off compliance checks and maintain CRM back-office systems, sharpening your regulatory awareness and technical file-handling standards.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience working within an IFA or financial planning administration environment.

Strong technical IT capabilities across Microsoft Office and Excel, with experience using Intelliflo regarded favourably.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Professional verbal and written communication skills, with relevant CII qualifications welcomed but not essential.

If this role isn’t quite right, it’s still worth speaking to one of our specialist team, as we may be working on something that hasn’t hit the market yet.
