The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Advisor to join the firm's People Advisory team in a broad generalist role supporting fee-earning and business services client groups.
Key responsibilities will include:
Advising managers and employees on disciplinary, grievance, performance and other employee relations mattersSupporting the implementation of People policies, initiatives and wider business objectivesManaging family-friendly leave processes, including advising employees on entitlements and supporting their transition back into the businessSupporting sickness absence management, occupational health referrals and return-to-work processesCoaching and supporting managers through employee conversations and performance mattersSupporting performance and development processes, including training requirements, succession planning and promotion activityWorking closely with Talent Acquisition on recruitment activity, including role scoping, approvals, job descriptions and internal talentManaging probation processes and ensuring new joiners receive effective onboardingSupporting remuneration processes, salary benchmarking and monthly payroll submissionsAnalysing People data including sickness, turnover and other management information to identify trends and areas for improvementSupporting organisational reviews, team structures and wider People projectsContributing to wellbeing, diversity, inclusion and employee engagement initiativesBuilding strong relationships across specialist teams including Reward, Talent Acquisition, Early Careers, Learning and Diversity & Wellbeing Requirements
The successful candidate will have significant generalist HR experience, including at least 2 years' experience operating at People Advisor, HR Advisor or a similar levelExperience within the legal sector is highly desirable Vacancy Highlights
