The Opportunity
A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Chelmsford is looking to recruit an ambitious Audit Semi Senior to join its expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with accountancy practice experience who is looking to develop their audit career within a supportive environment. The role will provide exposure to a varied client portfolio across a range of sectors, alongside ongoing professional development and clear progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completionConducting audit fieldwork both on-site and remotelyPreparing audit working papers and supporting documentationLiaising with clients to obtain relevant financial informationPreparing statutory accounts for a variety of clientsAssisting with corporation tax computations and returnsEnsuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlinesWorking closely with Audit Seniors, Managers, and Partners on client engagements About You
Previous experience within an accountancy practice environmentSome exposure to audit assignments is essentialAAT qualified or currently studying ACA or ACCAStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesExperience using accounting and audit software would be advantageousEnthusiastic, motivated, and keen to progress within practice What's on Offer?
