As a Driver, you will be responsible for delivering our high-quality bakery products to our customers, ensuring each delivery is made safely, on time, and to the highest standard. You will also be expected to represent Bertinet Bakery professionally while providing excellent customer service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Deliver bakery products to customers according to scheduled routes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently, ensuring products are handled with care to maintain quality.
• Maintain an organised vehicle and ensure that all deliveries are documented accurately, including delivery confirmations and any relevant paperwork.
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in safe working condition, performing routine checks and reporting any issues promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service, interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Handle any delivery issues, including delays, damaged products, or customer complaints, ensuring they are addressed promptly and professionally.
• Follow all traffic and road safety regulations and ensure compliance with legal and health and safety requirements.
• Assist in the planning of delivery routes to maximise efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
• Report any delivery discrepancies or issues to the Transport Supervisor and work together to resolve them.
• Represent Bertinet Bakery positively to customers and the public, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
About You:
Have a good knowledge of Bath and the surrounding areas is an advantage.Are reliable, punctual, and committedCan lift and carry heavy boxes – you’ll be responsible for loading your vehicleHave excellent customer service skills and a friendly, patient attitudeHold a valid UK manual driving licence with at least 1 year of experienceHave a clean driving record (or no more than 3 penalty points, with no previous bans or endorsements)
Location: Brassmill Ln, Bath BA1 3JN
Hours: 25 hours per week – Any 5 days out of 7
Shift: 2.30am to 10.30am
Pay: £13.20 per hour
